I look at it while I work and it reminds me that I am constantly striving for balance.... work/life balance, good carbs/bad carbs, exercise/rest, parenting good cop/bad cop. Now the work I do is about finding balance for my clients as well. I search for patterns of tightness that are pulling their bodies out of balance and creating pain. I help to release that tightness and help my clients maintain that newfound balance with stretches and strengthening. In coming to me for help, they, too, are finding their balance between caring for everyone else and caring for themselves.
In the coming weeks, many influences will be trying to affect our balance. There is more food than we should eat, more alcohol than we should consume, more things than we should by. Keep striving for balance!
