If I don't get regular massage, I find that I am more tired, achey and get more frequent headaches. That nagging pain between the shoulder blades that plague so many? Yup, I get that too.
As a busy mom and massage therapist, I spend my days taking care of other people. Taking time out to get care for myself revives me, gives me more patience and the energy to keep helping others.
Not only is it great for me physically and emotionally to get regular massage, but it also helps me BE a better massage therapist. I love to experience new techniques and find myself inspired to incorporate them for my own clients!
Mom always told me to practice what I preach ;)
